Imran Hossain is a solicitor, community leader, and charity founder who has dedicated his career to supporting families, young people, and vulnerable members of the community.
Through his professional work and community initiatives, he has helped many people with legal advice, education, youth development, and charitable projects.
Imran believes in strong communities, fair opportunities, and ensuring that every resident has a voice.
Imran has led humanitarian programmes and community institutions while providing trusted legal support across immigration, housing, and representation.

A former Amnesty International and UNICEF campus leader who led campaigns for human rights, now brings that same passion for justice and fairness to fighting for every resident of Weavers Ward.
A Principal Solicitor with over a decade of experience helping families navigate immigration, housing, and legal challenges - someone who understands the real struggles residents face and knows how to fight for them.
Founded Ummah Appeal and co-founded five community organisations spanning humanitarian aid, youth education, and interfaith engagement — turning ideas into real impact for thousands of people.
Elected to represent over 27,000 students and 4,000 international students, introduced hardship funds, and won Student Officer of the Year — a track record of standing up for those who need it most.
From representing his university at the Milan Model United Nations to leading national student bodies and global charity projects, Imran brings a world-class perspective to the issues that matter on your doorstep.
Co-founded Ummah Academy and Ummah Institute to mentor young people and develop future leaders — committed to creating real opportunities for the next generation in Weavers Ward.

Student Years
During his student years, Imran served as Elected Students’ Officer at the University of Hertfordshire Students’ Union, representing over 27,000 students. He was Founding Vice-President of the South Asian Students’ Union UK, VP of the Lawyers Without Borders Society, and a campus leader for Amnesty International UK and UNICEF.
